Anne Marie Garbolinsky is a CPA/CA with more than 20 years of experience in progressive roles in various industries in Bermuda and Canada. Anne Marie obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University and her CA from CPA Nova Scotia.
After working with PwC for six years, Anne Marie’s career took her to Bermuda where she worked as VP Finance for The Tucker’s Point Club during the resort’s development. She took a family sabbatical for a few years before returning to the work force with a small accounting firm in Ottawa.
To add to her extensive experience, Anne Marie then spent five years as a Director at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada. From there she moved to Mitel to work on internal controls over financial reporting under the SOX framework and assessing process and controls for their recurring revenue, including SAAS, and project accounting.
Anne Marie has worked with Helix IT Inc for more than three years in a largely finance and accounting role in addition to being responsible for multiple systems implementations, HR and administrative projects.
